Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Skewer each hot dog with a stick on one end of each dog.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, xanthin gum, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  5. In a small microwave safe bowl, add the cheese. Heat in 60-second increments until melted together.
  6. Add the cheese to the almond flour mixture and ix until combined.
  7. Add in the egg and mix well until a dough is formed.
  8. Roll out the dough on parchment paper.
  9. Cut a rectangle out of the dough large enough to wrap around a hot dog.
  10. Firmly mold the dough to the hot dog and lay out on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they turn brown.
  12. Serve with mustard for dipping and enjoy!
