Cheese straws are a great low-carb snack that can easily fit into your meal prep routine. Made with just a few ingredients, including sharp cheddar cheese and almond flour, these cheese straws come together in no time. Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine almond flour, salt and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
- Beat the butter in another bowl with electric mixer. Once light and fluffy, add in the shredded cheese.
- Add in the flour mixture until a round ball of dough forms.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Cut into 30 6-inch long rectangles.
- Gently twist each cheese straw as you place in the lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Once done, place on wire rack to cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!
