It’s perfect for meal prep or a family gathering, making it a versatile addition to your repertoire.

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil. You should have enough water for all the haricots verts to be submerged. Salt the water heavily.
  2. While the water is heating, rinse the haricots verts in a colander and mince the garlic.
  3. Add the haricots verts to the water once it begins to boil, and cook them for about 4 minutes – you want them to be a bit cooked, but still crisp and a vibrant green.
  4. Pour the beans back into the colander, and return the pot to the stove at medium heat.
  5. Add the butter to the pot, cook down the butter, and add the garlic.
  6. Once fragrant, return the haricots verts to the pot and toss them around until all of the beans are coated.
  7. Taste a bean, and based off of that, add salt to your preference, toss, and serve
