When you need to refresh your menu, opt for this mouthwatering recipe for low carb irish soda bread. With just a few ingredients, you can switch up your normal routine with this scrumptious irish soda bread. Moreover, it is a perfect choice for a keto lifestyle.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the dry ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, flax seed, allulose (or erythritol), baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until combined.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk eggs. Then add heavy cream and apple cider vinegar. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix together with a wooden spoon until a stiff dough forms.
  5. With clean hands, remove the dough and form into a 6-inch round loaf (and about 2 inches tall). Place on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Use a sharp knife to score a large "X" into the top of the loaf, about half to two-thirds deep. This step is important to allow the middle of the bread to cook through.
  6. Bake for 25-28 minutes until golden brown and dry to the touch.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. Slice and serve with butter!
