- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 medium tomato (diced)
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup green beans (cut to ½ – 1 inch length)
- 2 teaspoons malt vinegar
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro (chopped + extra leaves for garnish)

Instructions
Kheema:
- Warm ghee over medium-high heat in a large skillet.
- Add in onions & garlic and cook until golden.
- Toss in ginger and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add in coriander, paprika, garam masala, cumin, and cayenne (if desired) & cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add in beef and use a spoon to separate the lumps.
- Sauté until the beef is no longer pink.
- Stir in tomatoes, ½ – 1 cup water, and generously season with salt & pepper.
- Add the chopped green beans.
- Stir well and simmer, partially covered, for about 10 minutes.
- Add in vinegar and chopped cilantro..
- Garnish with cilantro leaves and fresh lemon or lime juice may be added prior to serving.
Hot Garam Masala:
- Combine all ingredients in a spice or coffee grinder.
- Grind until a fine consistency.
- Store in an airtight container away from direct sunlight.
