Instructions

Make the burgers:

  1. Combine ground beef, almond flour, onion powder, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and egg in a mixing bowl. Grate or smash 1 piece of Knorr beef cube into the mix and mix everything together.
  2. Make the patties by scooping out ¼ cup of the meat mixture at a time. Mold it into ball shapes and then flatten.
  3. Heat canola oil in a pan. Fry one side of the patties in medium heat until it browns. Turn it over and do the same procedure to the opposite side. Remove from the pan. Set it aside.

Make the mushroom gravy:

  1. Start with melting the butter in a large skillet.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cook on medium high heat until golden brown (about 3 minutes per side).
  3. Add the onions and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, until golden and soft.
  4. Add the broth and the Worcestershire sauce, stir and cook for 3 minutes, stirring to scrape any bits off of the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add the sour cream, stir well, and remove from the heat. Note: If you want a thicker gravy, you can cook it on low for 5 extra minutes to condense it. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve gravy over the warm burger steak patties. Serve over cauliflower (or other low-carb alternative) rice.
