Sometimes you simply crave the classic taste of corn dogs. Thankfully, with our easy low carb corn dogs, you can enjoy the delicious taste of corn dogs, all while maintaining your low-carb lifestyle! After you make this straightforward recipe for low carb "corn" dogs with a few ingredients, you won’t go back.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Skewer each hot dog with a stick on one end of each dog.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, xanthin gum, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  5. In a small microwave safe bowl, add the cheese. Heat in 60-second increments until melted together.
  6. Add the cheese to the almond flour mixture and ix until combined.
  7. Add in the egg and mix well until a dough is formed.
  8. Roll out the dough on parchment paper.
  9. Cut a rectangle out of the dough large enough to wrap around a hot dog.
  10. Firmly mold the dough to the hot dog and lay out on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they turn brown.
  12. Serve with mustard for dipping and enjoy!
