Instructions

  1. Peel and slice jicama into ¼ inch thin matchstick fries.
  2. Boil jicama fries in salted water for about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Strain water from jicama fries, and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. In a large bowl, toss jicama fries with oil, grated parmesan and seasonings.
  5. After coating thoroughly, transfer jicama fries to air fryer basket. Pro tip: Be sure to not overcrowd the basket, and keep fries to one layer.
  6. Set temperature to 400 degrees fahrenheit and set timer for 15 minutes.
  7. Every 5 minutes, check on the fries and give the basket a shake to ensure even cooking.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
