Instructions

  1. Place the garlic in a small custard cup and add 1 tablespoon water.
  2. Microwave on high power for 1 minute, or until the garlic softens.
  3. Flatten the garlic by crushing it with the side of knife and finely chop.
  4. Place garlic in a medium bowl. Stir in the mayonnaise, sour cream, and lemon juice until blended.
  5. Add the chicken, celery, and 2 tablespoons of the cheese and stir until combined.
  6. Arrange the romaine leaves on a serving plate.
  7. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture down the center of each leaf.
  8. Cut the croutons, if necessary into ½ inch pieces.
  9. Sprinkle the croutons over the chicken, and top with the remaining 1 tablespoon of cheese.
  10. Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 3 hours.
