Instructions

  1. Bring salmon out to let it come to room temperature. While it warms, preheat oven to 350 degrees, assemble all of the ingredients, and set up a little workstation where you will make the packets.
  2. Repeat the following for each piece of salmon: • Place two sprigs of dill onto one side of a piece of parchment paper that has been creased down the middle. • Lay the salmon on top of it. Press in approximately 1 clove of the minced garlic on the top of it. • Put 2 of your half pieces of butter on top of the salmon. • Salt the salmon to your preference, and place two slices of lemon atop it. • Fold the parchment paper around the salmon. If needed, use these step by step instructions as a guide.
  3. Arrange the salmon packets across 2 rimmed baking sheets and bake for 20 minutes. Let them sit for a few minutes before cutting the packets open to serve. Because the parchment paper seals in steam, be careful when opening them!
