How do I join Virta and get started?
- Check your eligibility: Check to see if you are covered by your employer or insurance by visiting virtahealth.com/join. Even if you aren’t covered, you can elect to self-pay for the program.
- Complete your application: After you fill out your application, Virta will review the health questions and information you provided to determine your initial medical eligibility for the program.
- Paperwork + Medical Screening: If you are eligible for the program, you’ll submit your Health History and a Release of Information (ROI) form. You will need to provide current lab work (from within the last year is often preferred) for medical screening. If you don't have recent lab work, Virta can help.
- Video Call with a Virta Medical Provider: You will have a free, no-obligation video consultation with a Virta medical provider. This call is to confirm and clarify your medical history and answer any personal medical questions you have before starting the program.
- Meet your Care Team and Get Started! Once the medical provider approves your enrollment, you will be officially enrolled in the program! You will be matched with your Health Coach and Medical Provider and receive a starter kit (including a connected scale, glucose and ketone meter, and strips) to help you monitor your progress.
